Dr. Stephanie Brashear joined our PrimaryPlus family in November of 2022 as part of both our primary care and obstetrics team. She is a graduate of Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Brashear also completed a Women's Health Fellowship from University of Tennessee. She has practiced medicine since 2011, where she served in the Navy Medical Corps from 2011-2017. Dr. Brashear was a General Medical Officer in the Navy Reserves serving with the 3/23rd Marines in St. Louis--we salute and thank her for her service to our country!
Approach to Healthcare: Dr. Brashear believes in traditional family medicine caring for people from birth to geriatrics. With her Women's Health Fellowship she has a strong focus on women's health.
About: As a native of Brown County, Ohio, she was thrilled to move back to her roots! She is a Class of 1999 graduate of Eastern Brown High School, so the Ohio River Vally is HOME! Dr. Brashear lives in the Mason County community with her husband and three children. The truly enjoy being outdoors and being together.
