Christopher Fennell, DO

Christopher Fennell earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Dr. Fennell completed his psychiatry residency at Wright State University/Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH.  He served in the Unites States Air Force and was stationed at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota from 2003-2007.  Dr. Fennell also holds a Master of Arts in the Study of Mysticism and Religious Experience from the University of Kent at Canterbury, England. 

 Approach to Healthcare:

Despite medicine being very biologically based, I try to approach healthcare as being a holistic discipline (body, mind, and spirit).  This is even more important in mental health.  As the famous psychiatrist Carl Jung said about psychiatry, it was “the place where the collision of nature and spirit became a reality”. 

About: 

Dr. Fennell grew up in southeastern Michigan.  He moved to Kentucky in 2012 and lives on a farm with his wife and twins.  He enjoys medieval reenactment (including jousting).
