APRN - Family Health & Women's Health
Muna Vonderheide, MSN, APRN joined the PrimaryPlus family in September of 2014 with the opening of their Ashland location. Muna graduated with her Registered Nursing degree from Ashland Community and Technical College and later continued her education at Frontier Nursing University where she received her Master’s in Nursing as both a Women’s Health and Family Health Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified in Women’s Health by the NCC and board certified in family practice by the AANP. Muna’s approach to healthcare is holistic believing that the mind and body are connected. It is her goal to work with her patients to take a TEAM approach (provider and patient being the key players). Prevention is also a very important component in her healthcare model.
Muna is married and has two wonderful children (a boy and a girl). She loves spending time with her family and in her spare time loves reading. The PrimaryPlus-Ashland is a special collaboration between PrimaryPlus and the Ashland-Boyd County Health Department. The new location is located inside the Ashland-Boyd County Health Department (2924 Holt St. Ashland, KY 41101–just off 29th St. behind the former Jack’s South Ashland Market).
