For Immediate Release Contact: PrimaryPlus Welcomes (September 3, 2009) PrimaryPlus is proud to welcome its newest physician...Deepu John, MD. Dr. John joins the elite staff of qualified, compassionate medical providers as a board certified internal medicine physician. He will begin seeing patients on Friday, September 11th at PrimaryPlus of Vanceburg, where he will practice four days a week. Dr. John is no stranger to the bluegrass state; he recently practiced in Hyden, KY, at Mary Breckinridge Hospital. Dr. John is a graduate of Mahatma Gandhi University. He then continued his studies with a residency at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL. Doctors who have a specialty in Internal Medicine have had specific training directed towards the prevention and treatment of adult disease. In 2007, Dr. John became a certified member of the American Board of Internal Medicine. “We are very happy to have Dr. John on our staff. He will be an asset to this community and to the PrimaryPlus network with his range of knowledge, his kind spirit and willing attitude,” states Jerry Ugrin, CEO of PrimaryPlus. Overall PrimaryPlus has approximately 30 medical providers ranging in services from family health, dental, women’s health, rehabilitation and pharmacy. The Vanceburg campus includes Dr. Sarah Porter; Dr. Paul Duncan; Dr. Grant Stevenson; Amy Canary, PA-C; Mark Fairchild, PA-C; Darla Pickett, PA-C; Dr. Shelia Arnett (dental); Gwen Webb, RNC-OGNP (women’s health); John Grabill, PT (rehabilitation); Lorie Evans, Pharm D and Clarence Francis, RPh (pharmacy)—and now their newest addition Dr. Deepu John. Also located within Lewis County, on the AA Hwy, is PrimaryPlus-Tollesboro which includes care provided by Dr. Patti Poczatek; Erin Collins, PA-C and pharmacist- Penny Liles, PharmD.
