PRIMARYPLUS WELCOMES ITS NEWEST MEMBER TO ITS MEDICAL FAMILY...DR. ISABEL DEL CASTILLO DE CALVO

(April 10, 2009)  PrimaryPlus is excited to introduce Maria Isabel Del Castillo de Calvo, MD (or Dr. Del Castillo for short) to its medical family.  It has been just over a year since the opening of the new building located at 927 Kenton Station Dr. in Maysville and to celebrate the anniversary, PrimaryPlus is welcoming Dr. Del Castillo to its medical staff.

Dr. Del Castillo is no stranger to the region; she has been residing in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region approximately 8 years.  She is a graduate of Universidad Mayor de San Andres in Bolivia and continued her studies with an internship at Hospital Obrero La Paz Bolivia.  In 1999, she began working with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.  With a passion for medicine and a desire to further broaden her education, Dr. Del Castillo started a residency program at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and also worked with University Hospital Cincinnati.

Dr. Del Castillo joins PrimaryPlus with a specialty in internal medicine and was board certified in August 2008.  Physicians of internal medicine have had specific training directed towards the prevention and treatment of adult disease.  For the time being, Dr. Del Castillo will be seeing patients at the Maysville office, but will also begin seeing patients at the new PrimaryPlus-Bracken County site, once it opens in the near future.
